THE AURORA ON
iPhone
For as long as I can remember, the Northern Lights have captivated my imagination, just as they have for millions of people worldwide. This winter, we'll experience displays of the Northern Lights in ways we have never seen—and won't again until 2035.
In the months ahead, in partnership with global brands, I will head to Iceland to document this unprecedented season. As a published photographer who proudly uses nothing more than my iPhone, my work has been featured on NBC's Nightly News, ABC's World News Tonight, CNN, Rolling Stone, Washington Post, People Magazine, BBC, CBS News, MSNBC, Daily Mail, Fox, Politico West Wing, Le Parisien, Axios, and even celebrated by Bill Nye the Science Guy. In 2020, I directed and shot a viral ad narrated by Morgan Freeman, which debuted on Rachel Maddow's primetime show—shot entirely on iPhone.
With Apple's support, I hope to share my Northern Lights photography this winter with my extensive network of reporters covering this rare phenomenon, as I have successfully done already, all while showcasing the capabilities of the new iPhone 16 camera. Brands I have been trusted by in the past include the NAACP, Martin Luther King III, and President Joe Biden's White House.
I look forward to hearing from the Apple team soon about the possibility of partnering for this magical season. A sample of my work—a glimpse into how I view our world through the lens of my iPhone—can be found by clicking the icon below.
